Mrs. Flint is looking for scented candles at the Magic Touch, with an excited Jennie in tow. While Milo tries to deal with a rather stubborn customer, the four-year-old is intrigued by one of his boxes of goods, which contains a silver amulet...

At the Onymous household, both Anne and E are exhausted from heavy workloads. E is desperate to be Lilly again to relieve the stress, even going as far as to create his own schedule, but Anne keeps on refusing, claiming she hasn't got the time to take care of Lilly at the moment. A couple of days later, while Anne is at school, E inadvertently agrees to babysit Jennie. When Anne returns and finds her, a long argument ensues over E's apparent Lilly obsession, which ends up with Anne angrily activating E's amulet.

Anne calls Robin and Jason over to babysit before Miranda arrives to pick her up for a magic lesson. Meanwhile, Jennie shows Lilly her new "toy"; the silver amulet from the Magic Touch. The girls clinks their two amulets together - and a magic explosion suddenly fills the house.

When the smoke clears, both Lilly and Jennie have been age progressed, with Anne, Robin, Jason and Miranda now both regressed and apparently gender switched. Lilly, now going by "Missy", tries to find a solution, and after finding out where the silver amulet came from, she leads the group to the Magic Touch.

At the shop, Milo quickly finds out that the gold amulet was originally designed by an imp in order to trick a brash king into becoming his wife. The silver amulet was supposed to be its counterpart - but remained unable to reverse the gender switch. Milo also realises that now Anne - or "Andy" - is apparently male, she won't have access to Wotch powers, since being male is a locked form for a Wotch.

While Missy grudgingly attempts to resolve an "inevtable occurance", she realises the amulets have not gender switched Miranda, and Milo realises that the fact "males" are a locked form actually means that Wotches can never be male, meaning that "Andy" is still Anne and still the Wotch. Missy rushes back to fetch Anne to dispel the amulets - only to find a magically shrunken Jennie and no trace of Anne, "Sonjette" and Robyn!

Outside, Anne is worried Missy won't forgive her for what she did to Jennie, causing her magic to grow quickly out of control. Soon, it has built into a large tornado which traps her inside! However, Missy, following their trail of destruction, quickly finds her, and despite almost being taken in by the storm herself, she manages eventually manages calm Anne down and help her stop the tornado. Reunited with her "sister", Robyn, and Sonja, the group make their way back to The Magic Touch.

Once there, Anne casts "Dispellus Amulet" on the two amulets - and nothing happens! Sonjette quickly realises why; the imp has returned, and under the terms of the amulet he tries to take Missy as his new wife! However, Jennie quickly informs Missy that she can trick the imp out of the deal by beating him in a wager. Missy challenges the imp to a transformation contest with Anne. Despite initial setbacks, Anne eventually wins thanks to some carefully placed illusion spells. The imp is forced to leave, but not before declaring revenge on Anne and Missy.

With the situation resolved, Anne dispels the amulets, and everyone is turned back to normal. Now realising what has happened, an enraged Miranda magically crushes both amulets and storms out of the shop. The others slowly leave - and from behind a bookcase, a stunned observer emerges - Morrigan Woe.

After a long talk with Miranda, Anne returns home. An apologetic E admits he was selfish before when asking to be Lilly, and Anne accepts apologising herself for putting her training ahead of him. She tells E she loves both him and Lilly, and when E asks whether Lilly is gone now, Anne tells him she could "turn him into her right now if he wanted". The siblings laugh.

Outside the house, Morrigan is watching, and reporting the location of the Onymous household to an unknown figure. We see a glimpse of her in silhouette, a malicious grin on her face...
