Coach Ratke is the P.E teacher at Tandy High. He also teaches another unknown class. He doesn't seem to care much about what his students do and is constantly leaving the class to supposedly take phone calls. He's currently on probation from teaching while the school board evaluates his teaching qualifications...again.
