FAQ:Beginner
From Wotchipedia
This page answers several beginner questions about the Wotch. If you've never read the comic before, this is the right place to start!
- What's a webcomic?
It's more-or-less a cross between a comic book and the comics page of your newspaper --- only on the web, just like the word "webcomic" implies. Like a comic book, it has big, involved, complex stories; but like the comics in your newspaper, each page of the story is published daily, rather than publishing the whole story when it's done. It also has no space constraints on a page, and every page, no matter how old, is always available at the click of a button.
- So what's this comic about, anyway?
It's about a girl named Anne who got magic powers this one time at band camp, and her friends, and their adventures. If you're a first-time reader, we invite you to start at the beginning, or you could just read the story summary to quickly get up to date.
- Where should I begin reading?
Although you can start reading the comic at any point, we recommend starting at the beginning, since each successive arc builds the story on top of the previous ones. If you're in a hurry, you could just read the summary to quickly get up to date.
- What's with all the transformation (TF) and transgender (TG) stuff in this webcomic?
We like it and think it's fun and interesting. Next question.
- Isn't that stuff sexual in nature?
No. Inherently TF and TG stuff have nothing to do with sex; in fact, here at the Wotch, we enforce the rule that everything here is PG-13 or less. This is intended to be a friendly, fun comic suitable for everybody.
