  • centaur. n. A mythical half-human half-horse creature. [more...]A centaur is a mythical being with the torso of a human attached to the body of a horse where the horse's head would be. Historically, centaurs were created by the ancient Greeks, and were male; however, in the Wotch, centaurs can be either gender. Several characters have appeared as centaurs in the Wotch, notably among them Robin, who was a centaur for much of the "Myths and Legends" arc, and Ally Taverner, who was permanently turned into a centaur during "Myths and Legends". centaur, centaurs, centauress, centauresses.   • Ishtarru, Bottle of. np. A genie's bottle that causes the genie to grant anyone's wish. [more...]The Bottle of Ishtarru was featured prominently in the "Angelique" story arc, and was the cause of most of the havoc wreaked on Tandy during it. The Bottle of Ishtarru can be used for summoning genies from their home world; however, unlike other summoning bottles, it requires the summoned genie to grant any wish he or she hears, not merely the wishes of the summoner. At the end of the arc, the Bottle's effects were nullified and its portal was sealed, causing the genie Angelique to be stuck in the human world. Angelique later returned to the genie world, and is heavily involved in a war going on there. [...less]

  • Ka-girl. vi. The act of being transformed into a girl or woman. [more...]This is a colloquial term, a back formation from the onomatopoeia "kaboom," and is considered to be a transgender transformation accompanied by either an explosive sound effect or a puff of smoke or both. "Ka-girling" occurs frequently in the Wotch comics, and is a popular activity in the forum as well. Ka-girl, Ka-girls, Ka-girled, Ka-girling, Ka-girlified, Ka-girlification.   • mermaid. n. A mythical half-human half-fish creature. [more...]A mermaid is a mythical being with the torso of a woman attached to the body of a fish. Mermaids are female; however, they have a male counterpart in the form of mermen; and the term merfolk or merpeople usually refers to multiple half-fish people of either gender.
