Samantha "Sam" Smith is a cheerleader at Tandy Gardens High School. Sam is the creative focus of the cheer squad: She creates the cheer squad's custom uniforms, chooses their performance music, and choreographs the cheers. Her cooking skills are reknowned throughout the school. [spoiler...]She was formerly a boy named Gene Smith and a member of the football team, but Anne's personality fragment feminine pride turned her and three other boys into cheerleaders, which seems to have improved their outlook on life significantly.
