Sarah is a student at Tandy Gardens High School, is a former hench-girl for Tamara Cass, and is best friends with Karen Vande Hoef. Though quite pretty, Sarah is very shy and unsure of herself, and defines herself through her friendships. A short time ago she tried out for the Cheer Squad along with Karen but didn't make the cut. Since Tamara began acting strangely and Karen joined the cheerleading team Sarah has been without someone to confide in.

Karen and Sarah have been best friends for years. Until recently they were almost inseperable, functioning as two sides of the same coin. They were willing hench-girls for Tamara Cass for years, since her popularity rubbed off on them, but mostly just because the other girl was doing it. Since Karen made the Cheer Squad the two have begun to slowly grow apart, though neither is happy about it.
