Spells

The primary way of utilizing supernatural forces to change, manipulate, or modify the natural world.
There are several magic users in the town of Tandy, most notably Anne Onymous (the current Wotch), Miranda West, the previous Wotch, and witch Cassie SinClair.

[edit] Combat Spells
- Confinos -- This spell entraps the subject in a bubble impervious to normal non-magical forces.
- Flamus Sustaina -- This spell absorbs fire attacks and gathers the energy from them in the caster's hands. By speaking the word "Returnum", the flames are released in one huge burst, engulfing the source of the absorbed fire attack.
- Preventum -- This spell creates an invisible shield that can deflect fire.

- Appear spell -- First used in Comic Relief, the appear spell causes an object to teleport and appear in the caster’s hand.
- Ficticious Motionare -- Anne first invoked this spell in the beginning of Comic Relief, with the intention of ... [spoiler...]creating a magical movie from the pages of Jason’s comics. Instead, it summoned parodic knock-offs of the characters from another dimension. According to Anne, when the spell “couldn’t find the characters in the comic books, it summoned the closest things it could find!” [...hide spoiler]
- Shanayim Persona et Persona Manifest -- This spell summons an aspect of the target person's personality, essentially creating a clone of that person, but with certain flaws associated with that personality trait. [spoiler...]In SchizophrANNEia, Anne used this spell on herself three times. But repeated use of this spell proved to have disastrous effects on Anne's mind. Midway through the arc, the spell began to replicate itself automatically, and her personality continued to fragment into many parts. However, when Anne touched the "clones", they were reabsorbed back into her. Anne's aspect of anger, however, would inevitably choose to stay separated from Anne on a permanent basis. [edit] Transformation Spells
- Gender Transformation Spell -- More commonly known as the "Ka-Girl" spell, any male subject of this spell becomes female. Although the result is normally just a female version of the the subject, the result can be tailored for different physical results, such as the blonde Jason Grey becoming the red-haired Sonja. Recently, when under assault by the forces of D.O.L.L.Y., Anne did use a different version of the Gender Transformation Spell, changing the female members of D.O.L.L.Y. into their male counterparts.
- Alloh Shallachnu Mortania Transformio -- With the right components, this spell should turn someone who has been transformed into an anthropomorphic animal back into a human. [spoiler...]However, the first time it was cast in Abra-Cat-Dabra, instead of turning the catgirl-ified Anne human, it transformed Robin, Jason, and E into catpeople. [...hide spoiler]
- Armata Tunicus Gelianti Forebearus -- This spell was designed to magically dress the caster in whatever clothes he or she is holding in his or her hand at the time. [spoiler...]However, in Abra-Cat-Dabra, when Anne attempts to use it to dress herself, her cat Maki jumps into her hand and makes her drop the clothes she was holding. The result? She becomes a catgirl. There is no counter for this spell, since there was never supposed to be a need for one. [...hide spoiler]
- Ficticious Charactae Transformatare -- This spell changes a person into a parodic knock-off of whatever fictitious character that person is thinking of at the time. This spell is countered by the spell Ficticious Disassemblare Reshet. [spoiler...]In Comic Relief, Anne used this spell to change herself into Nightgirl, Robin into Arachnid, and Jason into Psykique. - Gignosko Felina Peri -- Transforms the target into a catperson.
- Invokio Amulet -- When these words are spoken, the amulet around the neck of E transforms him into his much younger, female counterpart, Lilly. This spell is countered by Dispellus Amulet.
- Memoria Corpus Kie -- This spell alters the target's mind to make it appropriate for their body. It is normally used to counteract mental transformations, but can also induce mental transformations to match physical ones. Its effects become temporary if used in conjunction with a magical object. [spoiler...]Used by Anne's personified joy to change Professor Sorgaz's mind into that of Mingmei Wu. Later used by Anne herself in an attempt to realign E's and Lilly's minds with their proper bodies. [...hide spoiler]

- Float spell -- The float spell does exactly what it sounds like: It causes an object to levitate.
- Teleportation Spell -- This spell does exactly what it says. It removes a person from one physical location and has them appear in another.

- Plene Luna Similare Imediatorum -- This spell creates an artificial full-moon effect that can trigger the transformations of nearby werecreatures. It wears off at the following dawn.
