Loyalty. Secrecy. Success. The Organization is a well funded, well equipped group operating primarily out of the town of Tandy, but possessing global ties. Operating completely in the shadows of society, very few people outside the Organization know of its existence, and fewer still are allowed to keep that knowledge.
The Organization has at its disposal vast resources both mundane and mystic in origin.
[edit] The Council
The ruling body of The Organization are a group of people known only as the Council. The Council is shrouded in secrecy, even from the rest of The Organization. It has its own hierarchies, its own rules, and its own methods. Ostensibly there is a single leader known only as Chairman, but what roles the rest of the Council has in decision-making is unknown.
[edit] The Agents
Directly below the Council, acting as eyes, ears and occasional fists, Agents are the pinnacle field unit of The Organization. Specially trained, Agents have a variety of skills and abilities, and their diversity is encouraged. Some excel at hand-to-hand combat, while others have strong magical or telepathic abilities. Agents are encouraged to work with their strengths, whatever they may be.
Agents always work in pairs, and those partners rarely change. Partners are chosen primarily to create strong personal bonds as well as complimentary abilities. Thus, when one Agent is assigned to a task, there's always another nearby.
The recruiting and training of Agents is shrouded in mystery. However, it is known that Agents generally have amnesia and know nothing of their lives before becoming an Agent. Also, Agents are assigned a number rather than using code-names. Indeed, Agents not only don't know their original names, but are incapable of remembering a name for themselves, other than their numerical designation (which, in all actuality, is a description rather than a name).

If Agents are the officers, Mystics are the soldiers. Working primarily in six-man squads, Mystics are the applied wherever brute force is needed. Where Agents protect the secrecy of The Organization, Mystics get the job done, whether it's fighting off an incursion, or erecting a magical field. Trained as soldiers, Mystics look and act like small military units. The only difference is that they're trained in the use of magic relics when needs be.
Mystic squads are usually deployed under the supervision of Agents, and Mystics always follow their direction. However, the command structure is a little less formalized between Agents and Mystics as it is between Mystics and their own squad leaders. Also, Mystics have no direct contact with The Council, and tend to have no clue why they're doing the things they do. All they know is they're well paid.
[edit] Restoration Teams
When the Mystics are deployed, things tend to get broken. When that happens, Restoration Teams are sent in. Varying in size and abilities depending on the situation, these are general laborers, tradesmen and even janitors... While they work in Organization facilities, they're simply paid to clean up and not ask questions. Those that do live good lives with plenty of benefits. Those that don't......

Any organization, capitalized or not, has additional staff, facilities and resources. Some of these are right out in the open... regular businesses and warehouses. Others are hidden... Safe-houses, labs, containment facilities... some outsourced, others owned. All working to forward the goals of The Organization.
