Theodore (sometimes called Ted by his fellow freedom-fighters) is a young magic-user from the dimension under the thumb of Xaos. He is a member of Tigerclaw's Resistance.
Theodore lived [spoiler...]in a part of his dimension that hadn't been conquered by Xaos, but was instead ruled by an evil sorcerer named Drako. His father was killed by Drako for a pair of magical artifacts that were in Ted's possession, a staff (the Claw Staff) and a stone. These artifacts guided him to a third, the Phoenix Blade, and gave him power to defeat Drako. Upon Drako's demise, Xaos approached him to explain the Prophecies of the Dark One and gave Ted an opportunity to join his forces. He refused, attacking the Dark Lord, who spared him, claiming that Ted reminded him of himself at that age.At some time after he joined the Resistance, he began to be tutored in magic by the Avriem. Later, he was one of the two Resistance members who went to request Lord Sykos's aid in traveling to Anne's dimension. Ted's defeat of Drako was what prompted Sykos to change his answer answer from a "No" to a resounding "Maybe."

The only spell Theodore has been seen to cast is a generic Ka-Zap spell, but [spoiler...]the Avriem was apparently teaching Ted some potent spells [...hide spoiler]. Ted's level of ability is mostly unknown.
